The process of putting CFRP(Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic) into stainless pipe and drawing at the same time to make rubbing-roller which is one of manufacturing liquid crystal display to light and strong was proposed. Because there are problems about dimensional tolerance and distortion by residual stress from drawing. This study is to analyzethe reason about residual stress from fitting process by using drawing and apply the result from the analysis to the process to manufacture rubbing-roller. In this study, The effect of process parameter, semi-die angle, friction condition, drawing speed, are analyzed to obtain optimal process conditions. Main reason of inferior products from drawing about residual stress and selection of the proper material for fitting in roundness and straightness of drawing products is tried by comparing AISI-304 with AISI-1045.
