초보상담자가 상담수련 과정에서 경험하는 어려움에 대한 인식

국문 초록

본 연구는 초보상담자가 상담수련 과정에서 경험하는 어려움에 대한 인식을 살펴보려는 목적으로 이루어졌다. 이를 위해 상담 전문가 자격증을 준비하는 수련 과정에 있고, 상담관련 전공 대학원에 재학 중이며, 상담 실무 경력 3년 이하인 8명의 초보상담자를 모집하여 연구를 실시하였다. 연구 자료의 수집 과정에서는 일대일 면담을 실시하였으며, 합의적 질적 분석 방법(CQR)을 활용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초보상담자의 상담수련 과정에서의 어려움에 대한 인식은 6개 영역, 15개의 범주가 도출되었다. 어려움을 나타내는 6개의 영역은 학습자 역할 변인, 상담자 역할 변인, 수퍼바이지 역할 변인, 교육 및 수련의 구조적 변인, 사회 경제적 변인, 그리고 상담자 진로 변인으로 나타났다. 둘째, 어려움에 대한 내용 중 높은 빈도가 나타난 내용은 ‘경제적인 부담감이 큼’(일반적)과 ‘상담자로서의 역량 부족’(일반적)이었다. 이러한 연구결과는 초보상담자가 상담자 수련과정에서 경험하는 어려움의 주요 내용을 이해하는 기초차료를 제공하였다는 의의를 지닌다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explore the difficulties of the counselor training experience recognized by the novice counselor. To do this, 8 novice counselors who are in the process of preparing the counselor s qualification, who are attending graduate school of counseling, and have less than 3 years experience in counseling were interviewed. And the collected data were analyzed using the Consensus Qualitative Research(CQR) method. The results of the study are as follows. First, the difficulties of the novice counselor s experiences in counselor training were derived into 6 domains and 15 categories. The six domains of difficulty were learner role, counselor role, supervise role, structural variable of education and training, socio - economic variable, and counselor’s career variable. Second, the high frequency of difficulties was found in the order of high economic burden (general) and lack of capacity as counselors (general). The results of this analysis helped the novice counselor to understand the main contents of the difficulties experienced during the training process.
