인터넷 중독 가정방문 상담사의 상담에서의 심리적 경험과 상담진행의 어려움에 대한 질적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 인터넷 중독 가정방문 상담사들이 가정을 방문하여 상담하는 과정에서 경험하는 심리적 현상과 어려움 및 이를 극복하고 효과적으로 상담에 임하는 과정을 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 서울과 경기도에 소재한 한국정보화진흥원 스마트쉼센터에서 현재 가정방문상담을 진행하는 상담사 8명을 대상으로 심층면접을 하였고, P. Colazzi의 질적 연구 방법을 사용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과 가정방문상담사들은 가정방문상담의 준비단계와 진행단계에서 다양한 어려운 상황을 경험하였지만, 가정방문상담과 일반상담이 다른 특수성을 이해하고, 효과적으로 대응하기 위해 유연하게 대응하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 연구자는 연구결과를 토대로 가정방문 상담사들이 어려운 요인을 극복하고, 상담 효과성을 제고할 수 있도록 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The objective of this study is to investigate the psychological manifestations and challenges experienced by house call counselors and to analyze their overcoming the difficulties for successful progression of counseling. To this end, an in-depth interview was conducted among eight house call counselors currently working in the Seoul and Gyeonggi area at the Internet Addiction Prevention Centers affiliated with the National Information Society Agency. The interview results were analyzed using the qualitative research method of P. Colazzi. The analysis showed the following results. The house call counselors were experiencing a wide range of difficult situations in the preparation and progression stage. However, they were handling the challenges in a flexible and effective manner as they understood the unique nature of house calls distinct from regular counseling. Based on the research findings, this study presented implications for house call counselors to overcome difficulties and improve the effectiveness of counseling.
