공립유치원교사와 초등학교교사의 행복감과 직무스트레스 비교연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 공립유치원교사와 초등학교교사의 행복감과 직무스트레스를 조사하여 공립유치원교사의 행복감 증진 방안을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 있다. 이를 위해 공립유치원교사와 초등학교교사 450명을 대상으로 행복감과 직무스트레스에 대한 설문지를 배부하였다. 설문지 회수율은 85.5%였으며, 결측값이 있는 설문지 등을 제외하고 총 385부를 분석하였다. 독립표본 t-검증과 상관분석을 실시하여 공립유치원교사와 초등학교교사의 행복감과 직무스트레스를 살펴보고, 상관관계를 분석하였다. 연구결과 행복감은 공립유치원교사가 초등학교교사에 비해 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 직무스트레스 역시 공립유치원교사가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 공립유치원 교사의 행복감과 직무스트레스 간에는 부적상관 관계가 있었으며, 특히 직무스트레스의 하위 영역 중 보상, 관계갈등, 조직체계, 직무자율성, 기관의 물리적 환경이 교사의 행복감과 유의미한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구를 통해 공립유치원교사의 직무스트레스 경감과 행복감 증진을 위해 정서적, 심리적 보상을 위한 동료 교사와의 관계 지원 및 협력체제를 구축하고, 행정업무 전담 인력 배치가 필요함을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the happiness and job stress of public kindergarten teachers and elementary school teachers, and to provide basic data for improving public kindergarten teachers happiness. For this purpose, a questionnaire about happiness and job stress was distributed to 450 public kindergarten teachers and elementary school teachers. The return rate of the questionnaire was 85.5% and a total of 385 parts were analyzed except for those with missing values. The independent sample t-verification and correlation analysis were conducted to examine the happiness and job stress of the public kindergarten teacher and elementary school teacher, and to analyze the correlation. The study found that public kindergarten teachers were more happy than elementary school teachers, while job stress was also higher than that of public kindergartens. There was a negative correlation between public kindergarten teacher s happiness and job stress, and among the sub-categories of job stress, compensation, relational conflict, organizational system, job autonomy, and institution s physical environment were found to have a significant correlation with teacher happiness. Through these studies, it was discussed that it is necessary to establish a relationship support and cooperative system with fellow teachers in order to reduce job stress and improve happiness for teachers in public kindergartens, and to deploy personnel exclusively for administrative tasks.
