PISA2015에 나타난 한국 고등학생의 수준별 물리성취도와 물리 주제 흥미 분석

국문 초록

이 연구에서는 PISA2015 원자료를 활용하여 PISA2015 참여국, 12개 과학성취도 상위국, 한국의 물리성취도, 수준별(Level) 물리성취도, 물리 주제 흥미와 이들 사이의 상관관계를 분석하고 한국 물리교육에 대한 시사점을 도출하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 한국의 물리성취도는 PISA2015 참여국, OECD 회원국보다 높으며 Top12국에 해당하지만 물리 주제 흥미는 PISA2015 참여국, OECD 회원국보다 낮았다. 둘째, 한국은 Level 3~Level 5에서 물리성취도 수준이 높을수록 물리 주제 흥미(3주제 평균) 및 물리 주제별 흥미가 높아졌으며 통계적으로 유의하였다. 셋째, 수준별 물리성취도와 물리 주제 흥미(3주제 평균), 물리 주제별 흥미 사이의 상관은 Top12국(Pearson’s r=.168~.259), 한국(Pearson’s r=.127~.226), PISA2015 참여국((Pearson’s r=.119~.184) 순이었다. [힘과 운동], [에너지와 에너지 전환], [우주와 우주의 역사] 등 물리 3주제 사이의 상관은 한국이 가장 높았다(Pearson’s r=.353~.732).

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze physics performance, physics performance by level and interest in physics topics of PISA 2015 participating countries, 12 top science performance countries and Korea, and define correlations among research items. The results were as follows. First, Korea was subsumed Top 12 countries, physics performance of Korea was higher than PISA 2015 participating countries and OECD countries. Second, the higher physics performance level of Korea, the higher the interest in physics topics of it in Level 3~Level 5, the statistics were statistically significant. Third, the order of correlations among physics performance by level, interest mean in 3 physics topics and interest by 3 physics topics were Top 12 countries (Pearson’s r=.168~.259), Korea (Pearson’s r=.127~.226), PISA 2015 participating countries (Pearson’s r=.119~.184). Korea has highest correlation among ‘motion and force’, ‘energy and its transformation’ and ‘the universe and its history’ (Pearson’s r=.353~.732).
