국문 초록

본 연구는 스피노자의 인간관이자 윤리학의 토대가 되는 코나투스(conatus)의 개념을 학교상담의 관점에서 재해석하여 상담적 의미를 추출하는 데 있다. 교사에 의해 이루어지는 예방적ㆍ교육적 차원의 학교상담에서, 학생을 인격적 존재이자 가능성을 지닌 존재로 바라보고 조력하고자 하는 교사의 인식과 태도는 학교상담자로서 무엇보다 중요하다. 오늘날 부정적으로 인식되는 욕망과는 다르게 스피노자의 자기보존욕망 즉, 코나투스(conatus)는 자신의 존재를 유지, 보존하려는 능동적, 적극적인 힘이다. 이러한 코나투스가 모든 사람에게 내재되어 있다는 스피노자의 인간관에 대한 교사의 이해는 학교상담자로서 내담자인 학생을 바라보는 인식을 변화시킬 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 상담의 전 과정에 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 본 연구는 스피노자의 인간관과 코나투스에 대한 상담적 사고와 접근을 통해 초등학교 상담과 관련한 다양한 상담적 의미를 추출하였으며, 교사를 대상으로 내담자인 초등학생 이해와 관련지어 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to extract the counseling meaning by reinterpreting the concept of conatus, which is Spinoza s human view and the basis of ethics. In the preventive and educational school counseling conducted by teachers, the teacher s perception and attitude to view and assist the student as a personal being and a potential being are most important as a school counselor. Unlike desires that are now perceived negatively, Spinoza s desire for self-preservation, or conatus, is an active and active force to maintain and preserve his existence. Spinoza s understanding of the human view that Conatus is inherent in all people can not only change the perception of the client, but also affect the whole process of counseling. This study extracts various counseling meanings related to elementary school counseling through Spinoza s counseling thinking and approach to Conatus, and discusses it in relation to understanding of elementary school student as client in school counseling.
