다문화 간호역량 프로그램 효과에 대한 메타분석

국문 초록

이 연구에서는 다문화 간호역량 프로그램의 전체 효과크기를 구하고 효과크기에 영향을 주는 변수들을 탐색하기 위해 메타분석 방법을 활용하였다. 메타분석을 수행하기 위한 자료를 수집하기 위해 PICOS(Population, Intervention, Comparison, Outcomes, Study design의 약자) 기준을 활용하여 한국교육학술정보원(RISS), Google Scholar Service를 활용하여 1차 문헌검색을 진행하였다. 자료 수집은 2차에 걸쳐 진행되었으며 1차는 2019년 7월 1일부터 한 달에 걸쳐, 2차는 8월 1일부터 약 2주에 걸쳐 이루어졌다. 그 결과, 49편의 논문을 수집하였으며 이 가운데 구체적 정보가 빠져 효과크기를 계산할 수 없는 연구와 학위논문과 학술지 논문에 중복으로 수집된 연구 34편을 제외한 16편의 연구를 최종 분석에 활용하였다. 연구자의 판단과 cma 프로그램에서 제공하는 이질성 지수를 고려하여 랜덤효과모형으로 메타분석을 수행한 결과, 다문화간호역량 프로그램의 전체 효과크기는 1.047로 나타났다. 이는 큰 효과크기에 해당하며 다문화간호역량 교육을 받은 실험집단이 그렇지 않은 통제집단의 점수보다 약 1 표준편차 높다는 의미이다. 또한, 하위그룹분석 결과, 다문화간호역량 프로그램은 교과 영역보다 비교과 영역에서 수행될 때 더 큰 효과크기를 나타냈으며 프로그램 개발 과정에 교육전문가가 포함된 경우, 포함되지 않은 경우보다 효과크기가 큰 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 메타회귀분석 결과, 학년과 처치 기간은 효과크기에 영향을 주지 않았지만, 처치 시간은 효과크기에 부적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

In this study, meta-analysis was used to find the overall effect size of multicultural nursing competency program and to explore the variables that influence the effect size. PICOS criteria were used to collect data for meta-analysis, and primary literature search was conducted using RISS and Google Scholar Service. As a result, 49 papers were collected and 16 papers were used for the final analysis, except for 34 papers which could not calculate the effect size due to the lack of specific information and duplicate. The meta-analysis was performed by random effect model considering the investigator s judgment and heterogeneity index provided by cma program. As a result, the total effect size of the multicultural nursing competency program was 1.047. This means that the experimental group, which has a large effect size and has been trained in multicultural nursing competency, is about one standard deviation higher than the score of the control group. In addition, the results of the subgroup analysis showed that the multicultural nursing competency program had a greater effect size when conducted in the non-curriculum and the education specialist was included in the program development process. Finally, meta regression analysis showed that treatment time negatively affected the effect size.
