영문 초록

This study found that asset selection and investment behavior by life cycle and compare and analyze differences in asset management preference and management method of extra funds. In addition, through these objective and empirical analyses, the factors affecting asset selection by life cycle and the relationship between investment behaviors were sought. This is aimed at providing policy implications for the soundness of the household asset structure and the formation of assets. Therefore, this study looked at assets, liabilities and income by life cycle, comparing and analyzing characteristics of investment behavior according to life cycle, how to operate extra funds, and differences in asset management preferences. The research method was a microscopic empirical analysis using the 2018 Household Financing and Welfare Survey Financial sector data of Statistics Korea, and analysis tools used the SPSS 23.0 program. As a result, Koreans have different ways of managing surplus funds depending on their age group. As Koreans age, they have a strong tendency to invest in real estate.
