예비유아교사의 보육실습에 관한 요구 및 개선방안 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 예비유아교사들이 보육실습 기간 동안 경험한 이야기 중 보육실습 개선을 위한 요구를 탐색하고, 보육실습을 개선할 방안이 무엇인지를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 D대학 유아교육과에 재학 중인 4명을 선정하였고, 연구방법은 반성적 저널쓰기와 개인면담을 통한 사례를 다각검증법을 활용하여 자료분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 보육실습을 한 4명의 예비유아교사들은 보육실습에 관한 다양한 자신의 목소리를 가지고 있었다. 예비유아교사는 실습생으로서 ‘나의 위치 찾기(호칭, 시간, 공간)’와 과업 달성하기(수업하기, 보육실습일지 쓰기)’에서 어려움을 느끼고 있었으며, 이를 개선하기 위해서는 보육실습을 운영하는 학교와 유아교육현장에서 예비유아교사들의 목소리에 보다 적극적으로 관심을 보여야 할 필요가 있다. 따라서 보육실습의 주체인 예비교사에게 실천적 지식의 장으로서 역할을 효과적으로 수행 하도록 하기 위해서는 예비유아교사가 실습에 관한 유아교육현장의 문제를 함께 고민하고 협력하는 구성원의 하나로 자리매김 할 필요가 있음을 시사해 주었다.

영문 초록

This study explores child care practicum experience of pre-service early childhood teachers as revealed through the pre-service early childhood teachers’ reflective journals and provides suggestions to improve the quality of the child care practicum and enhance professional development. Four 2th grade pre-service early childhood teachers enrolled in a college located at J do participated in writing reflective and interview. The result of pre-service early childhood teachers formed practical knowledge from child care practicum. As a pre-service early childhood teachers, I was having difficulty finding my location and accomplishing my tasks. To improve this, it is necessary to pay more attention to the voices of pre-school teachers at the schools and early childhood education centers that run child care practice. Together for the development of child care teacher the members of the cooperative have to worry. Also, We recommend establishing a more structured and well planned child care practicum system.
