국문 초록

본 연구에서는 동적기하 환경에서 공학적 도구에 대한 새로운 접근 가능성과, 학교수학에서 연역적 증명에 치중하고 있는 정당화 학습의 문제점과 대안을 고찰하였다. Lakatos의 증명과 반박의 방법을 교수·학습 모형으로 채택하여, 동적기하를 활용한 상호작용하에서 일어나는 학생들의 정당화 과정을 관찰하여 정당화의 특징을 Harel과 Sowder의 증명스키마의 관점에서 분석하였다. 이의 결과, 동적 기하환경은 Lakatos 방법 중 추측의 개선 단계에서 긍정적인 상호작용을 통해 학생들에게 추상적 성질을 쉽게 인식할 수 있게 하므로 적극적인 도입이 필요함을 확인하였다. 추측의 개선 단계에서 다양한 반례를 탐색하며 학생들은 임의성, 종속성, 불변성과 같은 기하적 대상의 추상적 성질을 직관적으로 인식하는 모습을 보였으며 문제해결에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 본 연구의 결과는 기하교육에서 학생들의 정당화학습에 대한 한 방법으로 활용될 수 있으리라 기대된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze proof schema of middle school students using Lakatos’ method in dynamic geometry environment. The Lakatos’ proofs and refutations has been adopted as a teaching and learning model to observe the characteristics of the mathematical justification of students under interaction with dynamic geometry softwares. These justification characteristics were analyzed from the point of view of Harel and Sowder s proof schema. Results show that the dynamic geometric environment confirm the need for more aggressive adoption, as it facilitates the recognition of abstract qualities through positive interaction during the improvement of guesswork in the method of Lakatos. When searching for various responses at the stage of improving the guesswork, students showed intuitive recognition of the abstract qualities of geometric objects such as randomness, dependency, and invariance, which had a positive effect on problem solving. Therefore, these teaching and learning methods could be developed into more general models, applying them to different levels of students and various difficult tasks, and contributing to a change in perspective on geometry.
