Incoterms？？ 2020의 특징과 실무적 쟁점에 관한 연구 : FOB, DPU를 중심으로

국문 초록

Incoterms는 1936년 공표되어 필요에 따라 변경되어 왔으며 1980년 이후부터는 10년 주기로 변경되어 2020년 1월 1일부 8차 개정 사항이 발효된다. 10년 주기로 개정되는 Incoterms의 변화는 국제무역에 있어 가장 중요한 이슈중 하나로 개별 조건의 변경뿐만 아니라 세부적인 내용, 해석 그리고 실무적인 쟁점까지도 연구의 대상이 된다. 본 연구에서는 새롭게 개정된 Incoterms？？2020의 주요 변경 내용과 함께 실무적 쟁점과 시사점에 대해 도출 하고자 한다. 본 연구의 제2장에서는 다양한 시각에서 연구되어온 선행연구와 Incoterms의 변천과정에 대해 알아보고 제3장에서는 Incoterms？？2020의 주요 변경내용에 대해 검토 한다. 그리고 제4장에서 전통적으로 가장 많이 사용해온 조건중 하나인 FOB와 가장 눈에 띄는 변화인 DPU에 대해 예시를 바탕으로 실무적 쟁점을 도출하여 시사점과 결론을 제시한다.

영문 초록

Purpose : The purpose of this study is to review revised content of Incoterms？？2020 and deliver implication of practical issues of Incoterms？？2020 Research design, data, methodology : This paper suggest the amendment, implication and improvement method of Incoterms？？2020 by analyzing case study and real industry data. Results : Compare to Incoterms？？2010, Incoterms？？2020 does not have a considerable change. However, this study pointed out practical issues of DPU which newly established and FOB which is traditional Conclusions : Incoterms have been improved to reflect the changing times. Incoterms？？2020 also improved to reflect the trend of the times. However, from the practical point of view, it was also necessary to make a supplement, which is expected to be supplemented or changed in the future by continuously monitoring its effectiveness. In addition, in order to improve and develop problems in the right direction in the future, efforts should be made to use them correctly in accordance with the recommendations of Incoterms.
