국문 초록

이 연구는 범교과 문식성의 관점을 바탕으로 다문화 교육의 접근 방안을 모색하고자 한다. 범교과 문식성의 ‘문’을 2015 개정 초등학교 6학년 2학기 국어 교과서에 수록된 <피부색깔=꿀색>으로 설정하고, ‘식’을 Sleerter & Grant(2009)가 제시한 다 문화 교육의 접근 유형으로 설정한다. 이를 통해서 현재 우리 교육에서 다루고 있는 다문화 교육의 한계와 지향점을 확인하고 실제적인 접근 방안을 구안하고자 한다. 우리의 다문화 교육은 여전히 다수의 관점에서 소수를 이해하려는 경향이 있다. 문학적 경험을 통해 소수자의 관점에서 다수자를 이해하며 다수자의 시선과 소수자의 시선에 균형을 유지할 수 있는 경험의 확장이 필요하다. 범교과 문식성의 관점으로 다문화 교육에 접근한다면 각 교과에 있는 제재를 적극적으로 활용할 수 있고, 학생들의 다양성을 존중할 수 있는 교육 방안도 마련할 수 있다. 즉, 각 교과의 제재를 범교과 문식성의 ‘문’으로 접근하고, 다문화 교육의 접근 유형을 범교과 문식성의 ‘식’ 으로 접근하여 다문화 교육을 위한 확장적인 방안을 구안할 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to propose a multicultural education plan from the perspective of cross-subject literacy. In cross-subject literacy, ‘Mun’ is set to in the 6th grade Korean textbook. And in cross-subject literacy, Sik is set as five types of approach of multicultural education. In this way, we can identify the limitations and orientations of multicultural education and find ways to implement it. Our multicultural education still tends to understand minorities in terms of the majority. It is necessary to use literary experiences to understand the majority from the perspective of the minorities and to balance the eyes of the majority with those of the minorities. Approaching multicultural education from the perspective of cross-subject literacy can use the text in each subject. In addition, it is possible to prepare educational plans for students to respect each other s diversity.
