국문 초록

본 연구는 어머니의 우울 및 양육스트레스와 아동의 공격성 간의 관계에서 아동의 자아존중감의 매개효과를 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 한국아동패널연구(2015) 8차년도 조사 결과를 활용하였다. 어머니의 우울, 어머니의 양육스트레스, 아동의 공격성, 아동의 자아존중감과 관련된 검사를 사용하였으며 최종적으로 1,509명의 자료를 SPSS 프로그램으로 분석하였다. 수집된 자료는 어머니의 우울 및 양육스트레스와 아동의 공격성 및 자아존중감 간의 관계를 분석하기 위해 상관분석을 시하였다. 어머니의 우울 및 양육스트레스와 아동의 공격성 간의 관계에서 아동의 자아존중감의 매개효과를 검증하기 위해서는 Baron과 Kenny(1986)가 제안한 세 단계의 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 어머니의 우울 및 양육스트레스와 아동의 공격성 및 자아존중감의 관계에서 유의미한 상관관계를 보였고, 어머니의 우울 및 양육스트레스와 아동의 공격성 간의 관계에서 아동의 자아존중감의 부분매개 효과가 검증되었다. 즉 어머니의 우울 및 양육스트레스는 아동의 공격성에 직접적으로 영향을 미치면서 자아존중감을 부분매개하여 간접적으로 영향을 미쳤다. 이 같은 연구 결과는 아동의 공격성을 낮추기 위해서는 어머니의 우울 및 양육스트레스와 아동의 자아존중감에 대한 중재의 중요성을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the study is to investigate the relationships between mother s depression or parenting stress and aggression in their children to detect the mediating effects of selfesteem in their children. For this purpose, the data came from the 8th panel study of Korean children(2015) which has been analyzed 1,509 people s database. Agreement between the mother s depression or parenting stress and aggression in their children were evaluated by Pearson s correlation coefficient. Using the multiple regression model proposed by Baron and Kenny, the mediating effects in selfesteem in their children were analyzed. In the results, there are correlation among mother s depression, parenting stress and aggression, selfesteem in their children. There are mediating effect of the selfesteem in their children between the mother s depression, parenting stress and aggression in their children. These results suggest that it may be important to improve the selfesteem to deplete the aggression in their children. Thus, it is needed to develop the various methods or programs to improve the selfesteem in children.
