전환기 지적장애 청소년의 가정 및 독립생활기술에 대한 중등특수교사의 인식

국문 초록

이 연구는 목적은 전환기의 지적장애 청소년의 가정 및 독립생활 능력 향상을 위한 주요 기술 영역들 10가지에 있어서 선생님들의 인식을 알아보고 그에 따른 개선 방안을 알아보는 데 있다. 전환기의 지적장애 청소년의 가정 및 독립생활 능력 향상 을 위한 주요 기술 영역들에 대한 교사 인식 수준을 밝히기 위해 대구광역시의 지적장애 특수학교 및 특수학급 중등교사들 200명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 특수학교 및 특수학급 중등 교사들의 전환기의 지적장애 청소년의 가정 및 독립생활 능력 향상을 위한 주요 기술들에 대한 인식은, 중요도에 대한 인식수준은 높으나 수행도 인식 수준보다 낮다. 전환기의 지적장애 청소년 의 가정 및 독립생활 능력 향상을 위한 주요 기술들에 대한 중요도 인식수준은 샤워하기 혹은 목욕하기 조목이 제일 높은 반면 다양한 목적에 맞게 이메일 사용하기 조목에 대한 인식수준은 제일 낮다. 수행도 인식수준 또한 손과 얼굴 깨끗하게 씻기에 대한 인식이 제일 높은 반면 다양한 목적에 맞게 이메일 사용하기에 대한 인식은 제일 낮다. 변인 별로 중요도 인식수준에 있어서는 여교사의 인식수준이 남교사에 비해 높고, 중학부와 전공과 교사의 인식수준이 고등부 교사에 비해 높으며, 특수학급 교사가 특수학교 교사에 비해 전환기의 지적장애 청소년의 가정 및 독립생활 능력향상을 위한 주요 기술들에 대한 중요성을 높게 인식한다. 수행도에서는 남교사에 비해 여교사가, 10년 이상의 교육경력을 지닌 교사가, 특수학급 교사들의 인식 수준 이 높다. 연구 결과 별로 논의를 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the current perceptions of special school teachers about home living and independent living skills of students with intellectual disabilities. 200 special school teachers for students with intellectual disabilities participated in this study. Descriptive statistics, independent t-test, and ANOVAs were used to analyze the data. Results of this study are as follows. First, special school teachers for students with intellectual disabilities perceived the importance of teacher roles in teaching home living and independent living skills. However, the teachers perceived their implementation level of teaching home living and independent living skills as relatively low. Specifically, the special education teacher perceived the importance of teaching shower and bath skills most and perceived the importance of teaching skills of sending email least. In addition, the special education teacher perceived the implementation level of teaching skills of washing hand and face and using bathroom hygienically most and perceived the implementation level of teaching skills for sending email least. Second, the results indicated that female teachers perceived the importance of teaching home living and independent living skills significantly higher than male teachers. Also, the results indicated that teachers who had experience of in service training related to transition education perceived the importance of teaching home living and independent living skills significantly higher than teachers who did not have experience of in service training related to transition services. In addition, the results indicated that teachers who had taught between 10 and 20 years and who have vocational teacher certificate perceived level of implementation of teaching home living and independent living skills than other teachers
