국문 초록

이 연구는 영어교육 특성과 영어교육 맥락요인을 중심으로 대졸자의 취업성과에 영향을 미치는 요인이 무엇인지 분석하여 실제로 학습자의 영어 습득환경과 대졸이후 취업 요소와 밀접한 연관을 갖게 되는지를 통해 어떤 요소들이 불평등을 야기하 는지를 분석하였다. 또한 영어와 취업 간의 관계를 실증하고, 영어가 사회적 성공의 효과적인 수단으로서 실제 영향은 얼마나 작용하는지, 대졸자의 노동시장 진입에 있어서 영어교육 투자 및 교육서비스 제공의 합리적 방향성에 관한 기초자료를 얻고자 하였다. 조사기간은 2016년 3차에 걸쳐 총 422부를 최종적으로 분석에 활용하여 연구문제를 실증적으로 검정하였다. 연구문제 검증결과는 첫째, 대졸자의 취업성과 중현재취업여부에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인에 대한 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 배경적 요인, 영어교육특성 요인, 영어교육맥락 요인을 반영한 모든 변인에서 비교 집단이 기준집단에 비해 현재취업여부에 대해 유의하게 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 둘째, 대졸자의 취업성과 중 고용지속가능성, 즉 1년 후 고용상태 예상에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인에 대한 회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 고용지속가능성에 대한 영향력에 대해서도 전반적으로 유의한 결과로 나타났다.

영문 초록

This study analyzed what factors affect college graduates employment achievements, focusing on the characteristics of English education and contextual factors for English education and which factors triggered inequity, by examining whether there was a strong association between the English acquisition environment and employment elements after graduating from a university. In addition, this study verified a relationship between English and employment and attempted to determine the actual influence of English as an effective tool of social success and obtain basic materials on the reasonable direction of the investment in English education and provision of English education services. The results were as follows. First, logistic regression analysis on the major factors influencing current employment among college graduates employment achievements was carried out; for all variables reflecting background factors, factors of English education characteristics, and factors of English education contexts, significantly affected the experimental group s current employment compared to the control group. Second, the logistic regression analysis of employment sustainability, in other words, the major factors affecting employment conditions one year after graduation among the employment achievements of college graduates, showed that all the factors had an overall significant influence on employment sustainability.
