노인장기요양기관 종사자의 치매 인식과 태도

국문 초록

본 연구는 노인장기요양기관 종사자의 치매 인식과 태도를 확인하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구대상은 서울지역 장기요양기관 종사자 중 치매전문교육을 이수한 159명이며 자료수집은 2015년 5월부터 2019년 8월까지 진행되었다. 자료분석은 SPSS Window 18.0 version을 이용하여 일반적 특성은 실수, 백분율, 평균으로 치매인식과 태도는 평균과 표준편차를 실시하였다. 일반적 특성에 따른 치매 인식과 태도의 차이는 t-test, 일원배치 분산분석(ANOVA), 사후검증은 Duncan, 노인장기요 양기관 종사자의 치매 인식과 태도의 관계는 피어슨 상관계수로 분석하였다. 연구결과 치매 인식은 종사자간 유의한 차이는 없었으나 관리자는 학력, 경력, 경제적 수준에서 요양보호사는 경력에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 치매 태도는 관리자의 나이, 경력, 경제적 수준, 가족 치매 유무, 치매 검사 유무에 유의하였고, 요양보호사는 경력과 가족 중 치매 유무에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 또한, 종사자의 치매 인식과 태도의 상관관계는 유의한 것으로 나타나(r=.236, p<0.01) (r=.257, p<0.01), 치매 인식이 높을수록 치매 태도는 긍정적임을 확인하였다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 경력별 치매 인식과 태도를 위한 교육프로그램을 개발하여 올바른 치매 인식과 긍정적 태도를 함양시켜 양질의 서비스를 제공하고자 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine Long-term care Facilities workers awareness and attitudes towards dementia and to provide basic data for educating about awareness of dementia and strengthening positive attitudes towards dementia. From May, 2015 to August, 2019, data was collected, Data was analyzed using SPSS Window 18.0 version. Data was analyzed with frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA and Pearson‘s correlation coefficient. As a result of this study, no significant differences were found in dementia awareness between Long-term care Facilities workers. Administrators showed significant differences depending on education, career, economic level. home visiting care workers showed significant differences depending on degree of career. dministrators attitudes towards dementia were significantly associated with age, career, economic level, presence of a family member with dementia, and whether administrators performed examinations to diagnose dementia. home visiting care workers attitudes were significantly associated with career and presence of a family member with dementia. Additionally, The correlation between dementia-related awareness and attitudes from home visiting care workers in the administrators was turned out to be significant(r=.236, p<0.01, r=.257, p<0.01). The higher the awareness of dementia, the more positive the attitude of dementia is. based on the results of this study, we intend to develop and apply education programs for dementia awareness and attitude by career to foster proper dementia awareness and positive attitude to provide quality service.
