그림책을 활용한 유아 언어 교육 연구 동향 분석 -2007년 유치원 교육과정 개정 이후 논문-

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 그림책을 활용한 유아 언어 교육 연구를 중심으로 그림책과 연구의 내용 및 방법론적 동향을 종합적으로 분석함으로써 유아 언어 교육 분야의 학문 동향과 교육과정 변화에 따라 연구에 어떻게 반영되고 있는지를 살펴보는 것이 다. 이러한 목적을 위해 2007년 이후부터 2019년 8월까지 발간된 학술지 논문 총 98편을 분석하였다. 그림책을 활용한 유아 언어 교육 연구들의 동향을 살펴본 결과 활용된 그림책의 종류는 환상그림책이 가장 많이 나타났으며, 그림책 활용을 분석한 결과는 그림책의 이야기 활용이 가장 많이 나타났다. 유아 언어 교육 연구에서 나타난 활동 유형을 분석한 결과, 이해 및 감상 활동이 가장 많았으며 누리과정 이전 이후 비교 결과는 이해 및 감상 활동이 증가한 반면 통합 활동은 감소한 것으로 나타 났다. 그림책을 활용한 유아 언어 교육 연구들에서 다루고 있는 언어 영역 분석 결과, 언어능력과 말하기가 높게 나타났으며, 2007 유치원 교육과정 시기는 언어능력이 가장 높게 나타난 반면 누리과정 시기는 말하기가 가장 높게 나타났다. 연구 방법 동 향은 만5세 유아를 대상으로 차이분석을 사용한 실험연구가 가장 많이 나타났다. 본 연구는 유아교육의 대표적 매체인 그림책을 활용한 언어교육 연구의 가장 최근 동향을 분석함으로써 이 분야의 이론적, 실제적 흐름을 통해 앞으로의 연구 방향을 제시 하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the research trend in language education for young children utilizing picture-book with the focus on the picture-book, language contents, activity utilizing picture-book, and research method. Analyses were conducted on 98 journal published in Korea from 2007 to 2019. The results of this study can be summarized as follows; First, the most frequently used picture-book was fantasy picture books. Also the most frequently application of picture-book was story of picture books. Second, activity including understanding and appreciating picture books was the most frequently carried on according to picture book activities, followed by cooperation activity and integrated activity but literacy activity and critical activity was still not very often dealt with. In regard to language development, papers on language competence and speaking were the most in number; followed by reading, listening and writing in order.Third, experimental study with t-test, ANOVA for 5 year-old children was the predominant research methodology in this field.
