플립러닝을 활용한 수학과 수업이 초등학생의 학업성취도와 수학적 성향에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 플립러닝을 활용한 수학과 수업이 초등학생의 학업 성취도와 수학적성향에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위하여 수행되었다. 이를 위해 2019년 4월부터 5월까지 경상남도 G시에 소재한 Y초등학교 6학년 2개 학급 33명의 학생을 대상으로 6 학년 1학기 3단원 ‘소수의 나눗셈’ 10차시 수업을 플립러닝으로 설계하여 운영하였으며, 학생들의 학업 성취도와 수학적 성향 변화를 분석하기 위해 공변량분석(ANCOVA)을 활용하였다. 연구 결과, 플립러닝 수학과 수업을 통하여 학생들의 학 업 성취도가 향상되었으며 수학적 성향의 변화에도 효과가 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 학생들이 작성한 배움일지와 소감문 분석을 통하여 학생들의 플립러닝에 대한 인식을 보다 상세히 살펴보았으며, 연구 결과를 바탕으로 플립러닝을 활용한 수학과 수업의 전망 및 시사점을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to apply the mathematics class using flipped learning and to investigate the effect on the academic achievement and mathematical attitudes. In order to solve these research problems, from April to May 2019, 33 students from two 6th grade classes in Y elementary school located in G city in Gyeongsangnam-do were selected as object, and based on the mathematics class using flipped learning, this study has planned and applied 10th lessons of division of a prime number in the 3rd chapter of first semester of the 6th grade. As a result of applying the elementary mathematics lesson using flipped learning, students academic achievement was increased with effectiveness in changing mathematical attitudes. In addition, this study could find out some of students common features by analyzing their learning journals and impression letters. Based on the results of the research, the implication and the limitation of this study and suggestions for follow-up study were discussed.
