국문 초록

본 연구는 훈민정음 제자원리에 기반한 한글 파닉스 지도 프로그램이 학습장애 아동의 단어 읽기 및 쓰기 능력에 미치는 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 A시와 C시에 소재한 초등학교 학습장애 학생 3명을 대상으로 연구를 실시하였다. 본 연구 에서는 중재의 효과를 조사하기 위해 교육과정중심평가 측정에 의한 준거변동설계를 적용하였다. 연구 결과, 본 중재 프로그램은 모든 연구 참여자의 단어 읽기와 단어 쓰기 성취도가 기초선에 비해 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 훈민정음 제자원리에 기반한 한글 파닉스 지도 프로그램이 학습장애 아동의 단어 읽기와 단어 쓰기능력 향상에 효과적임을 의미하며, 교육 현장에서 단어 읽기와 단어 쓰기에 어려움을 보이는 학습장애 아동에게 유용하게 활용될 수 있다는 점을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study established in order to examine the effect of Korean phonics program on the reading and spelling of words in children with learning disabilities based on Hunminjeongeum. The participants were three 2nd and 3rd grade children with learning disabilities who were enrolled in a public elementary school in GyeongSangNam-do. The changing criterion design was applied to investigate the effects of program by a curriculum based measurement. According to results, achievement degree of all three participants’ word reading and spelling are significantly increased compared to the base line. These findings provided evidence that the Korean phonics program was an effective program to teach reading and spelling of words to children with learning disabilities.
