초등학생의 자기결정성동기와 생애목표 잠재프로파일 분석:자율성 지지 및 통제의 예측효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학생의 자기결정성동기와 생애목표 간 잠재계층이 존재하는지 확인하고, 잠재계층 구분에 영향을 미치는 예측변인들의 효과를 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 초등학교 5, 6학년 학생 491명을 대상으로 잠재프로파일분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 동기와 목표의 관계패턴에 따라 자율동기형(55.40%), 평균형(35.64%), 무동기-저내재목표형(8.96%)의 세 유형이 분류되었다. 세 잠재계층 간 동기와 목표 양상은 동기 유형 간 평균 차이는 크지만 목표 유형은 서로 비슷한 수준을 보였다. 세잠재계층을 구분하는 예측요인이 무엇인지 알아보기 위해 다항 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 부모와 교사의 자율성 지지 및 통제 모두 집단비교에서 유의미하였다. 본 연구는 동기 유형(자율동기, 통제동기, 무동기)과 목표 유형(내재목표, 외재목표)간 관계를 검증함으로써 집단 내 변인 간 관계의 이질적 속성을 확인하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 교육적 함의 및 후속연구에 대한 제언이 논의되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate latent profiles of motives and goal contents and to explore the differences in autonomy support and control of parents and teachers among profile groups. The subjects of study were 491 fifth and sixth grade students (51.7% boys, 48.3% girls) sampled from three elementary school. Latent profile analysis identified three latent classes with motives and goal contents; autonomous motives class, normative class, and amotivation-low intrinsic goal class. There were significant latent class differences in autonomy support and control of parents and teachers. This study has significance in verifying the heterogeneous nature of the relationships between motives (autonomous motivation, controlled motivation, amotivation) and goal contents (intrinsic goal, extrinsic goal). Implications for future research and intervention are discussed.
