『영리더』리더십 프로그램이 유아의 사회성 및 정서지능에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 만 5세 유아를 대상으로『영리더』리더십 프로그램이 유아의 사회성 및 정서지능에 미치는 효과를 분석하기 위하여 진행되었다. 본 연구의 대상은 서울시 동작구에 소재한 S유치원의 만 5세 유아 16명을 실험집단으로, 경기도 파주시에 소재한 K유치원의 만 5세 유아 16명을 통제집단으로 각각 선정하였다. 본 연구에서는 한국 영리더십센터(2011)에서 개발된 유아용『영리더』리더십 프로그램인『매일 멋진 영리더』를 만 5세 누리과정에 맞게 편성하였으며 연구에서 사용된 측정도구 는 이병래(1997)가 개발한 유아 정서지능 척도와 김숙경(1988)이 개발한 유아의 사회성발달 측정도구를 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 22.0 통계 프로그램을 사용하여 독립표본 t-test, 문항 간 신뢰도 검사, ANCOVA를 실시하였다. 연구를 통해 얻은 결과는 첫째,『영리더』리더십 프로그램 실시 후 실험집단 유아의 사회성이 통제집단 유아보다 유의미하게 향상되었다. 둘째,『영리더』리더십 프로그램 실시 후 실험집단 유아의 정서지능이 통제집단 유아보다 유의미하게 향상되었다. 본 연구 결 과를 통해『영리더』리더십 프로그램은 유아의 사회성 및 정서지능 증진에 효과적임을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This research was conducted under the purpose of analyzing the impact of the「Young Leader」leadership program for children on their sociality and emotional intelligence, targeting 5-year old children. In addition, this research aims to examine whether the「Young Leader」leadership program for children is applicable on the ground by analyzing its impact on enhancing the sociality and emotional intelligence of children. The subject of this study is a group of 16 children aged 5 at a kindergarten called ‘S’, which is located in the Dongjak District in Seoul. This is the experiment group, while the control group consists of 16 children aged 5 at a kindergarten called ‘K’, which is located in the city of Paju in Kyunggi Province. This is a ’Young Leader’ program that was developed by the Korea Young Leadership Center in 2011. The results that were gathered from preliminary and post-experiment tests were put through independent sample t-test and ANCOVA using SPSS 22.0. First, children within the experiment group showed overall improvement in the subfactors of sociality such as the capacity to cooperate and interact with others, tolerate others and exercise autonomy. Second, children within the experiment group showed overall improvement in the subfactors of emotional intelligence such as self-awareness, self-control, awareness and control of others. Therefore, this result indicates that the ‘Young Leader’ leadership program is an effective tool for enhancing the sociality and emotional intelligence of children.
