중국 대학 한국어 교재의 대화문 분석 -요청 화행을 중심으로-

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 한국어 교재의 대화문이 요청 화행 교육 자료로서 적절성을 갖추고 있는지 살펴보는 것이다. 요청은 화자와 청자의 체면을 위협하는 고부담 행위지만 실제 생활에서 광범위하고 빈번하게 발생한다. 이에 본고는 중국 대학 한국어 학과에서 주로 사용되고 있는 교재 3종을 선정하여 교재의 대화문에 제시된 요청 화행 전략 및 문형, 요청 대화의 참여자, 요청이 이루어지는 공간적 배경을 분석하였다. 요청 문형은 425개의 대화문에 모두 497회 등장하는 것으로 나타났고 요청 전략 중에서는 ‘명령형 요청’ 전략의 출현 빈도가 가장 높았다. 각 요청 문형이 학습자의 수준에 맞게 제시된 경우는 전체의 절반에 그쳐 중, 고급 수준의 학습자들이 상대적으로 난도가 낮은 문형을 학습하는 경우가 많은 것으로 파악되었다. 요청 대화에 등 장하는 참여자들은 친구, 손님, 직원인 경우가 전체의 65%였으며 요청이 이루어지는 장소는 불분명한 경우가 전체의 30%에 달해 요청 상황에 대한 한국어 교재의 내용이 상당히 제한적이라는 문제점이 밝혀졌다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to identify appropriateness of dialogues in Korean textbooks from a pragmatic perspective. Although requests are face-threatening acts to both requesters and recipients, they are common and widespread in daily lives. In this respect, this study analyzed strategies and expressions for requests shown dialogues of Korean textbooks widely used in universities of China. Results are as follows. First, strategies and expressions for requests were presented 497 times in 425 dialogues, ‘Imperatvies’ strategy was shown the most. Second, adequate expressions for the learner’s level accounted for just a half of all cases. Third, 65 percent of conversational participants were friends, customer, or clerk and 30 percent of dialogues were impossible to find where the conversations take place. In conclusion, results revealed situations and contexts presented in the textbooks were very limited
