국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 우리나라 고등학교에서 교과서 자유발행제의 적용 가능성을 탐색하고자 함이다. 이를 위해 교육과정 및 교과서 관련 자료를 문헌 분석하고, 중고등학교 현장 교사들의 교과서포럼 자유 토론 내용 및 이들 중 일부를 대상으로 한 면 담 내용을 보완하여 제시하였다. 그리고 자유발행제 적용 가능성을 원론적, 실제적, 거시적 차원에서 논의하였다. 도출된 논의는 다음과 같다. 첫째 원론적 측면에서는 국가적 표준화보다 학생의 자율성 및 다양성을 고려하여 인정도서를 자유발행하는 방안을, 둘째 실제적 측면에서는 대입 제도를 고려하여 자유발행하는 방안을, 그리고 마지막으로 거시적 측면에서는 미래 사회 특성 및 역량 교육 등을 고려하여 자유발행제하는 방안을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the applicability of the free publishing system of textbooks considering high school education environment in Korea. For this purpose, this study analyzed literature related to the curriculum and textbooks, and conducted interviews with teachers at secondary schools. This paper discusses the applicability of the free publishing system of textbooks on the theoretical, practical and macro level. First, it is necessary to move gradually to a free issue system in consideration of student autonomy and diversity rather than national standardization. Second, from the realistic point of view, a free publication system should be promoted considering the university entrance examination system. And in the macro level, this study discussed the need of free issue considering the future social characteristics and competency based education.
