국문 초록
本論文では、1940年代の太平洋戦争期の国策映画に採用されていた
ヴォイス․オーヴァーを論じていく。ヴォイス・オーヴァーは、日本映画 においてサイレントからトーキー映画へ移行した1930年前後から採用され た語り方である。この技法は、トーキー映画が定着した1935年以降により
多くの映画で使用されるようになった。特に、1930年代メロドラマ的モー
ドを持つ映画に多く採用されている。しかし、太平洋戦争期に製作された
国策映画では、ヴォイス․オーヴァーの採用が非常に少ないという特徴が
ある。
そうした語り方の活用の状況と国策映画の特徴をもとに本論文では、太 平洋戦争期の国策映画において 個人の内面を語る ヴォイス・オーヴァー の語り方はどのような機能と役割を果しているのかを歴史的に考察する。
それを、 純精神主義映画 のストーリーライン、規範化されたキャラク ターと照らし合わせながらヴォイス․オーヴァーが持つ政治的な意味と機
能をも考察していく。
영문 초록
The present article addresses voice-over which was adopted in national policy films during the period of the Pacific War in 1940’s. The voice-over is the voice technique that has been used from the period when Japanese films were altered from silent films to ones that incorporated the voice before and after the 1930’s. This technique was fully utilized when voice films first experienced a boom in Japan from 1935 onwards. Especially, it was included in melodrama films. However, the films that dealt with national policy that were produced at the height of the Pacific War which included the voice-over were at an exceedingly small level.
Based on the utilizing status of such a technique and the features of national policy films, this paper sets out to show historically how the voice-over – presents personal insights – has specific features and plays a significant role. In addition, it considers the political meaning and features of this technique that contrasts between the storyline of jun seishinshugi eiga and normal characters.
