야마자키 안사이(山崎闇斎)의 군신관계에 대한 일본적 이해* - 구유조(拘幽操) 의 해석을 중심으로 -

국문 초록

本稿は江戸時代の儒学者である山崎闇斎が朱子学を受容しつつも、それ をどのように変容させているかについて、韓愈の漢詩拘幽操の解釈を中心 に考察したものである。この漢詩には暴君である紂王を称賛し、自分の罪を 認める文王の心情が詠われている。これについて北宋の儒者である程頤はま さに文王の心情を表現したものであると評価している。しかし、朱子はより 客観的な態度を取り、韓愈の詩と程頤の文王に対する評価は言い過ぎである とした上で、文王は君王の過ちを知っていながらも、あくまで義をもって忠 を尽くそうと努力した人物であると評価した。一方、山崎闇斎はこのような 朱子の本意が理解できず、程頤と朱子の文王に対する評価が同じであると捉 え、韓愈の詩を純化された臣下の忠を表したものと見做した。 また、本稿では湯武革命論に関する朱子と闇斎の解釈についても分析し てみた。この革命論に関する朱子と闇斎の立場は同じである。にもかかわ らず、君臣関係をめぐる両者の考えには距離が見られる。このような相違 が生じた原因は中国と日本の社会システムの違いによると、まずは指摘す ることができよう。しかし、それだけではなく、儒教の論理を越え、絶対 に革命を許せない天皇制への闇斎の思想によると考えられるのである。

영문 초록

This article focuses on the interpretation of Hanyu’s Chinese poem, “Kuyujo,” concerning how Ansai Yamazaki accepted Neo‐Confucianism but transformed it. This Chinese poem is about the feelings of King Wen, who praised the tyrant King Ju and admitted his sin. In this respect, Cheng Yi likened the Chinese poem to King Wen’s heart. However, Chu‐tzu was more objective, saying that Hanyu’s poem and Cheng Yi’s evaluation of King Wen was too much, while King Wen tried to be loyal to King Ju, even though he was aware of the king’s mistake. However, Ansai did not understand Chu‐tzu’s true intentions and considered this to be pure loyalty to King Wen, supporting Hanyu’s poem and his evaluation of Chu‐ tzu and Cheng Yi. This article also analyzed Chu‐tzu and Ansai’s interpretations of revolution, which are the same. Nevertheless, the decisive difference between them lies in their vassals’ views on loyalty to the King. This is caused by difference of the social systems of China and Japan being considered first. However, it can be thought of as a reflection of the Emperor’s system, which would never accept revolution in Japan.
