숲 연계 수학활동이 유아의 수학적 태도 및 사회성 발달에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 숲 연계 수학활동 프로그램 적용과정에서 나타나는 복합적 효과로서 수학적 태도와 사회성의 발달을 연구하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 U광역시 A, B 유치원 만 5세반 유아 60명으로 하였다. 연구결과 수학적 태도의 각 하위요인 중 과제에 대 한 지각, 주위의 격려와 기대 및 전체 수학적 태도에서의 집단효과는 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났지만 수학에 대한 흥미 및 수학능력에 대한 자아개념의 집단효과는 나타나지 않았다. 사회성의 경우 개인정서 조절능력, 대인관계 형성능력 및 전체 사회성에서의 집단효과는 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났지만 유치원 적응능력의 집단효과는 나타나지 않았다. 이와 같은 결과는 숲 연계 수학활동 프로그램 적용 시부수적으로 사회성의 발달을 일정부분 이끌어 낼 수 있다는 것으로서 숲 활동과 연 계한 유아교육 프로그램이 유아의 복합적 발달에 효과적이라는 것을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study analyzed the mathematical attitude and social development appeared as complex effects in the application process of the forest-linked mathematical activity program. A total of sixty five-year-old infants at A and B kindergartens in U participated in this study. It was found that the mass effect of awareness for assignments, expectation and encouragement of people around them, and mathematical attitude among each subfactor was statistically significant, while the mass effect of interest in the math and self-conception for mathematical ability was not seen at all. As for sociality, the mass effect of the ability to manipulate personals emotions, the ability of interpersonal relation, and the whole sociality was found to be statistically significant, while the mass effect of the ability to adapt in the kindergarten was not seen. Taking the foregoing into account, it was found that the application of the forest-linked mathematical activity program could lead to the development of sociality to some extent. Consequently it suggested that the forest-linked mathematical activity program would be effective in helping infants develop in various ways.
