유아교사의 디지털 리터러시 잠재계층 유형화 및 영향요인

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교사를 대상으로 잠재계층분석(Latent Class Analysis)을 적용하여 디지털 리터러시 영역별 수준에 따른 잠재계층을 유형화하였다. 디지털 리터러시 잠재계층의 영향요인으로 유아교사의 개인적, 심리적, 직무 요인의 효과를 분석하였다. 연구대상은 수도권 지역 유치원과 어린이집에 재직 중인 교사 417명이며, 설문조사를 실시하였다. 유아교사 디지털 리터러시 수준에 따른 잠재계층은 4개 계층-디지털 리터러시 상위, 디지털 리터러시 중위, 컴퓨터 리터러시 우위, 지식 리터러시 열위-으로 분류되었다. 유아교사의 디지털 리터러시 잠재계층에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석한 결과, 연령, 경력, 학력, 유아교육 기관, 개인-직무 적합성, 디지털 효능감이 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 이러한 결과는 유아교사의 디지털 리터러시 향상을 위해 컴퓨터, 정보, 지식 리터러시 수준을 통합적으로 높여 줄 수 있는 교사교육과 디지털 기기 및 콘텐츠 활용에 대한 효능감 제고 및 스마트 교육 실행을 위한 교육 인프라 구축과 교사 직무 만족도를 높여 줄 수 있는 지원이 요구됨을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The objective of this study is to categorizing the level of digital literacy which is focused on the early childhood teachers’ computer, information and knowledge capacities. We analyzed the effects of early Childhood teachers demographic variables, digital efficacy as psychological factor and person-job fit on the level of digital literacy. The subjects of this study were 417 teachers in kindergartens and daycare centers in the metropolitan area. According to the LCA, latent classes were classified into four classes, digital literacy higher class, digital literacy median class, computer literacy superior class, knowledge literacy inferior class, according to the level of infant teacher digital literacy. The results by multinominal logistic regression analysis show that age, experience, education, child education institutions, person-job fit, and digital efficacy have significant effect on the digital literacy latent classes of early Childhood teachers. These results suggest that the improvement of digital literacy for early childhood teachers will require increased effectiveness in the use of computer, information, and knowledge, digital devices and content, and support for building an educational infrastructure for smart education implementation, as well as increased teacher satisfaction.
