국문 초록

본 연구는 대학신입생이 인식한 전공선택동기와 대학생활적응 관계에서 자기주도 학습능력과 사회적지지의 매개효과를 검증하는데 목적을 두고, 경남 J시에 소재한 G 대학교에 재학 중인 1학년 265명을 연구대상으로 선정하여 2018년 5월 21일부터 25일까지 한 주간에 걸쳐 설문조사를 수행하였다. 수집된 설문 자료는 SPSS 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였고, 다음과 같은 연구결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 전공선택동기의 개인적 동기 및 사회적 동기, 자기주도 학습능력, 사회적지지는 대학생활적응에 긍정 적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 전공선택동기의 개인적 동기 및 사회적 동기와 대학생활적응 관계에서 자기주도 학습능력과 사회적지지의 부분매개효과는 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 대학신입생이 인식한 전공선택동기와 대학생활 적응 관계에서 자기주도 학습능력의 인지적, 정의적, 행동적 영역과 사회적지지의 부모, 친구, 교수 지지의 매개효과를 각각 분석하였다는 점에서 의미가 있다. 본 연구결과로 대학은 대학신입생들이 대학이라는 새로운 공간에 적응하고 자신의 전공분야에 전문가로 성장할 수 있도록 자기주도 학습능력을 강화시키고 사회적지지를 제공해 줄 수 있는 다양한 방안을 강구할 필요가 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze mediating effect of self-directed learning ability and social support in relation of university freshman’s major choice ground and university life adaptation. To achieve this purpose, the study subject were university freshman 265 students while at G university in J city in gyeong sang nam do and question investigation was performanced aimed at this students during 1 week. To measure university freshman’s major choice ground, self-directed learning ability and social support and university life adaptation, measurement tool was made existing tool. On this basis, question materal was collected and collected question materal was analyzed using SPSS 23 program. Result of this study are summarized as follows: First, individual ground and social ground of university freshman’s major choice ground, self-directed learning ability, social support effected on university life adaptation positively. Second, self-directed learning ability and social support had part mediator effect in relation of individual ground and social ground of university freshman’s major choice ground, and university life adaptation. This study had meaning to analyze mediating effect separately of self-directed learning ability’s cognitive, emotional, active area and social support’s parent, friend, professor area in relation of university freshman’s major choice ground and university life adaptation. On this study, university will have to devise various way to reinforce self-directed learning ability and to construct social support system for university freshman’s new space’s adaptation and professional growth in major area.
