한국어 교사의 상호문화 활동 성찰 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 한국어 교사에게 상호문화 활동을 체험하게 함으로써 자신을 성찰하고 상호문화교육의 필요성을 느끼게 하는 데에 있다. 이를 위하여 대학교 한국어 기관에 재직 중인 한국어 교사 5명을 대상으로 상호문화 활동을 수행하게 한 뒤 집 담회를 통해 성찰하는 시간을 가졌다. 그 결과 한국어 교사들은 자신들이 한국 문화만이 아닌 다양한 문화의 영향을 받아 이루어진 한 개체라는 것과 이중적인 문화적 태도를 가지고 있었다는 것, 학생의 문화에 무관심 했다는 것을 깨달았다. 그들은 자 신들이 상호문화교육을 받지 못하고 현장에 진출한 것에 대한 많은 아쉬움과, 한국어 예비 교사 교육에 반드시 상호문화 관련 교육이 있었으면 하는 바람을 남겼다. 이에 대하여 한국어 교사 양성 필수 과목과 한국어 교사 연수 과정으로 상호문화교육을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to make Korean language teachers feel the need for mutual cultural education by having them reflect on themselves after experiencing mutual cultural activities. To do this, five Korean teachers working at the Korean language institute of a university were invited to perform mutual cultural activities and reflect on them by holding a meeting afterwards. As a result, Korean teachers realized that they were an individual derived from not only Korean culture but also of various cultural influences, and that they had a dual cultural attitude and were indifferent to the student s from other cultures. They left many regrets about their entry into the education field without first receiving mutual culture education training and wished that mutual culture-related education training be required for all Korean language teachers who teach students from other cultures. In response, the teachers proposed that mutual cultural education be a compulsory course for Korean language teacher training.
