국문 초록

한국어연수과정은 외국인 유학생의 한국어와 한국문화 교육에서 중요한 자리에 위치한다. 본 연구는 한국 문화에 대한 관심이 동기가 되어 한국으로 유학을 오는 유학생이 많다는 것을 전제로 한국어연수과정에서의 문화체험 프로그램을 새롭게 제안했다. 본 연구는 새로운 문화체험 프로그램을 개발하기 위해서 외국인 유학생의 학습자 특수성과 외국인 유학생이 학습해야할 문화교육 내용을 중심으로 프로그램 내용 설정의 방향을 잡았다. 그리고 이를 근거로 유학생의 문화적응스트레스를 낮추 고, 한국의 전통문화와 일상생활 문화를 아우르는 문화교육이 가능하며, 한국문화와 한국어 교육을 함께 진행하는 방향으로 프로그램의 내용을 도출했다. 특히 불교에서의 사찰이 이와 같은 프로그램을 적용·운영하기에 최적의 공간이라 판단하고 사찰을 중심으로 활동을 제안하고 프로그램을 구성했다. 이 프로그램은 유학생의 한국어 수준을 고려해서 탄력적으로 운영이 가능하며, 심리치료와 문화체험이 함께 진행될 수있고, 한국문화와 한국어 교육이 통합적으로 진행될 수 있다는 특징이 있다. 한국어 연수과정의 문화체험활동을 위한 보다 다양한 프로그램들이 개발·제안되어서 문화 체험 프로그램의 질적 발전이 이루어지기를 기대해 본다.

영문 초록

The Korean language training course is an important process in Korean language and culture education for foreign students. This study newly proposed a cultural experience program in the Korean language training course on the condition that there are many students studying in Korea due to interest in Korean culture. And based on this, we have derived the contents of the new program in a way that lowers cultural adaptation stress of students, that can provide cultural education encompassing traditional Korean culture and daily culture in Korea, and that we conduct Korean culture and Korean language education together. In particular, temples are the best places to run such Buddhist-centered cultural experience programs. The program can be operated flexibly considering the Korean level of students, psychological therapy and cultural experience can be conducted together, and Korean culture and Korean language education can be conducted in an integrated manner. We look forward to developing and proposing more diverse programs for cultural experience activities in the Korean language training course so that the quality of cultural experience programs can be developed.
