유아기 문제행동의 발달과정 탐색 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 육아정책연구소의 한국아동패널 5차∼7차 자료를 이용하여 4, 5, 6세 유아의 문제행동 발달과정을 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구에서 분석한 자료의 대상 수는 4세 1,694명, 5세 1,651명, 6세 1,605명이다. 유아의 문제행동은 Achenbach와 Rescorla(2000)의 CBCL 1.5-5를 오경자와 김영아(2009)가 표준화한 한국판을 사용하여 측정하였으며, 연구문제를 검증하기 위해 IBM SPSS 24 프로그램을 사용하였다. 유아의 성별에 따라 4세, 5세, 6세 세 시점에서의 문제행동 변화를 일반선형모형 반복측정 분산분석을 통해 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 유아의 연령이 증가함에 따라 문제행동은 감소하였으며, 유아의 문제행동에서 연령과 성별 간의 상호작용 효과는 유의하지 않았다. 이러한 결과는 유아기 문제행동이 어떻게 변화하는지를 파악하여 유아의 발달을 이해하는데 도움을 주며, 문제행동에 대한 지속적인 종단 연구를 통해 발달과정을 보다 심도 있게 탐색해야 할 필요성을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study was performed using the 5th∼7th Panel study on Korean children by Korea Institute of Child Care and Education. The purpose of this study was to find out the developmental changes in the emotional and behavioral problems of young children aged 4∼6. The subjects of this study were 1,694 four year-olds, 1,651 five year-olds, and 1,605 six year-olds. Emotional and behavioral problems were measured using the Korean version(Oh & Kim, 2009) of CBCL 1.5-5(Achenbach & Rescorla, 2000). The data were analyzed using GLM Repeated Measures ANOVA. The results were as follows: First, young children’s emotional and behavioral problems were decreased according to young children’s ages. Second, the interaction effects between young children’s ages and genders in the emotional and behavioral problems were not significant. Nevertheless, there was no gender effect in the other problems aged 4 year-olds, but boys showed more other problems than girls in the 5-6 years-old.
