국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 학습포트폴리오를 활용한 유아교육개론 학습경험이 예비유아교사의 교직열정과 자기조절 학습능력에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 데 있다. 이를 위해 G광역시에 소재한 S대학교 유아교육과 1학년 44명을 연구대상으로 하여 실험집단에 22명, 비교집단에 22명을 임의 배정하였다. 실험집단은 15주 동안 학습포트폴리오를 활용한 유아교육개론 수업을 진행하였으며, 통제집단은 동일한 기간 동안 강의 중심의 수업을 진행하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 18.0 프로그램을 활용하여 교직열정, 자기조절 학습능력 차이에 대한 t검증을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학습포트 폴리오를 활용한 유아교육개론 학습경험이 예비유아교사의 열정과 조화로운 열정을 증진시키고, 집착적인 열정을 감소시키는 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 학습포트폴리오를 활용한 유아교육개론 학습 경험이 예비유아교사의 자기조절 학습능력에 긍정적 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 학습포트폴리오 활용이 유아교사 양성과정의 수업개선을 위한 방안이 될 수 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The objective of this study is to understand how the pre-service early childhood teachers are effected by their experience of studying Introduction to Early Childhood Education with the learning portfolio on the passion for teaching and the self-regulated learning ability. For this, a total of 44 freshmen majoring in early childhood education at S University located in G metropolitan city participated in the study. 22 of them and the rest 22 were randomly assigned to the experimental group and the control group, respectively. The experimental group participated in the Introduction to Early Childhood Education classes with the learning portfolio for 15 weeks, while the control group attended the classes focusing on professor’s lecture for the same period of time. By using SPSS 18.0 Program for the collected data, t-test was conducted for differences in passion for teaching and self-regulated learning ability. The results of this study are as follows. First, the Introduction to Early Childhood Education class with learning portfolio enhances pre-service early childhood teachers’ passion and harmonious passion, whereas it reduces obsessive passion. Second, the Introduction to Early Childhood Education class with learning portfolio has positive effect on pre-service early childhood teachers’ self-regulated learning ability. These results imply that using learning portfolio could be an effective way of improving the classes for early childhood teachers-training courses.
