초등지리에서 창의융합교육의 의미와 교실 수업 방안 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구는 2015개정교육과정에서 추구하는 인간상과 지리교육과의 관련성을 밝히고 관련 교실 수업 사례를 제시하기 위한 것이다. 이번 개정교육과정에서는 “인문학적 상상력과 과학 기술 창조력을 지닌 창의융합형 인재”를 목표로 하여 핵심역량을 중심으로 교육과정을 구현하고 있다. 이런 인재 양성과 관련한 창의융합교육은 일반적으로 교과 간 융합이나 교육과정의 통합이라 간주되는 경향이 있다. 그러나 교과간의 통합이 아니더라도 지리 교과는 본질적으로 통합적이고 융합적 성격을 지닌 교 과라 할 수 있다. 이에 문헌 연구를 통하여 창의융합교육과 지리교육과의 관련성을 탐색하고 초등 지리 내에서 “장소”라는 주제를 중심으로 한 창의융합교육 방법과 수업 사례를 소개하고자 한다. 비록 외국의 사례에 대한 소개이기는 하나 구체적인 방 법과 수업사례를 담고 있어 지리 교과를 중심으로 한 창의융합 교실 수업 방안에 대한 논의가 확산될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study aims to identify the association between personality aimed by the 2015 amended national curriculum and geography education and further propose relevant cases of classroom classes. This amended curriculum targets “creative convergent talented students with humanistic imagination and science and technological creativity” and forms new curriculum based on core competence. In regards to this, the prevailing viewpoint lies in considering creative convergent education as subject-integration or inclusive education. However, it can be said that geography is intrinsically characterized by integration and convergence not just subject-integration. This reference research will explore the association between creative convergent education and geography education and further introduce creative convergent pedagogical methods and examples of classroom class centered on the topic of “place” in primary geography. In spite of a brief introduction on foreign cases, this study involves specific methods and class examples, which will lead to extend further discussions on creative convergent classroom class methods focused on geography.
