국문 초록

본 논문의 목적은 ‘진로’의 의미를 탐구하고, 진로교육이 나아갈 방향을 모색하는데 있다. 이를 위해 ‘진로’의 사전적 정의인 ‘앞으로 나아갈 길’에 비추어 진로의 의미를 탐구하였다. ‘앞으로’를 통해 시간의 의미를 고찰하여 학생들이 과거, 현재, 미래 에 대해 균형 있는 시간관을 가져야 하고, ‘나아갈’을 통해 생성의 의미를 고찰하여 학생들의 나아가기가 나아짐을 지향하는 새로운 자기-되기의 과정이 되어야 하며, ‘길’을 통해 자유의 의미를 고찰하여 학생들이 관습에서 벗어나 자신의 길을 찾을 수 있어야 한다는 점을 밝혔다. 이러한 논의를 바탕으로 진로교육의 방향을 다음과 같이 제시하였다. 첫째, 미래적 가치 추구는 학생들의 현재 삶을 돌보는 활동으로부터 시작되어야 한다. 둘째, 인재가 되기 전에 인간으로서 성장해 나가는 교육이 되어야 한다. 셋째, 주도적으로 자신의 행복한 삶을 만들어 나가는 길이 되어야 한다. 마지막으로 진로교육의 현장 적용에 대한 연구와 실천의 교육적 가치에 대한 비판적이고 질적인 접근이 필요함을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this paper is to explore the meaning of Career and to find directions for career education. To this end, we explored the meaning of the ‘Career in light of the dictionary definition of ‘Going forward, Advancement, Path . Through ‘Going forward review of the meaning of time, students should have a balanced view of the past, present, and future, consider the meaning of becoming(devenir, werden) through Advancement to become a new becoming yourself(devenir soi) process toward better students progress, and use ‘Path to explore the meaning of freedom to find their way out of the custom. Based on these discussions, the direction of career education was presented as follows. First, the pursuit of future values should begin with the activities of taking care of students current lives, and second, it should be an education that grows as a human being before becoming a talented person, and third, it should be a way to lead a happy life of his/her own. Finally, it was suggested that a critical and qualitative approach is needed to the educational value of research and practice on the field application of career education.
