국문 초록

본 연구는 체화인지론에 근거한 사회과 활동 중심 수업의 구성 방안에 대해 모색 해보고자 하였다. 먼저 선행연구의 분석을 통해 체화인지 이론의 개념을 탐색하였다. 그리고 체화인지 이론이 교과교육에 주는 시사점을 다음과 같이 추출하였다. 첫째, 학생의 지식 생성 과정에 새로운 시각을 제시한다. 둘째, 학생의 능동적 행위를 위한 활동 중심 수업의 중요성을 부각시킨다. 셋째, 교육적 환경을 이루는 다양한 공간적 요소에 관심을 불러일으킨다. 이를 바탕으로 사회과 활동 중심 수업을 구안하기 위한 활동 조건을 제시하였다. 첫째, 실제적 과제를 제시해야 한다. 둘째, 학생이 몸으로 느끼고 생각하는 활동이 되어야 한다. 셋째, 핵심역량을 기를 수 있는 협력적인 활동이 되어야 한다. 넷째, 궁극적으로 학생의 학습을 위한 활동이 되어야 한다. 마지막으로 이러한 조건에 의거하여 도시문제를 주제로 사회과 활동 중심 수업을 구안 하여 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore methods of the activity - based lesson in social studies based on the embodied cognition theory. First of all, the concept of embodied cognition theory was explored through analysis of previous research. And the implications of the embodied cognition theory on subject matter education are extracted as follows. First, we present new perspectives to students knowledge creation process. Second, it emphasizes the importance of activity-centered lesson for active behavior of students. Third, it attracts attention to various spatial elements that make up the educational environment. Based on this, I proposed the activity condition for the activity-centered lesson in social studies. First, the authentic task should be presented. Second, it should be an activity that the student feels and thinks in the body. Third, it should be a collaborative activity to develop core competencies. Fourth, ultimately it should be an activity for students learning. Finally, based on these conditions, activity-centered lesson in social studies was designed and presented on the theme of urban problems.
