국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 「대승기신론」에 비추어 사회화와 교과교육의 관계를 살펴보는 데에 있다. 일반적으로 사회화는 교과교육을 포함하고 있거나 별개의 것으로 간주된다. 그러나 이러한 관점은 양자를 구분하지 못하거나, 관련성을 파악하지 못하는 난 점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 「대승기신론」의 수행론에 비추어 이 난점을 해결 하고자 한다. 「대승기신론」에 의하면, 상념을 떠나 진여에 돌아가는 데에는 크게 진여용과 진여자체상이라는 두 가지 경로가 있다. 진여용이 여래의 행적, 다른 말로 제도화된 행동을 모방함으로써 진여에 돌아가고자 하는 경로를 가리키는 만큼, 그것은 사회화에 해당된다고 말할 수 있다. 그리고 진여자체상이 여래의 마음으로서 개념적 사고를 통하여 진여에 도달하고자 하는 경로를 가리키는 만큼, 그것은 교과교육과 관련되어 있다고 말할 수 있다. 그리하여 사회화와 교육과육은 각각 제도화된 행동 과 개념적 사고를 매개로 한다는 점에서는 서로 다른 활동이지만, 양자 모두 진여에 도달하고자 노력한다는 점에서 모두 교육이라는 동일한 범주에 속한다고 말할 수 있다. 게다가 전자는 후자에 의하여 완성되고, 후자는 전자에 의하여 삶으로 구현된다는 점에서 양자는 서로를 요청하는 관계라고 말할 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to understand the relation between socialization and subject matter education. In general, socialization is regarded as includes subject matter education or as separated from the latter. But this opinions ignore the distinction and relation between them in the contents and method as an education. Buddhist practice of The Awakening of Faith in the Great Vehicle“ can solve this problem. The author of The Awakening of Faith in the Great Vehicle“ says that there are two ways to reach Suchness(眞如). Influences of Suchness (眞如用) is the way of imitation on Buddha s behaviors. This is regarded as socialization. But the imitation without understanding the meaning of the behaviors is incomplete way to Suchness. Attributes of Suchness (眞如自體相) is the way of understanding the meaning of the behaviors. And subject matter education provides the perspective to understand the meaning of Buddha s behaviors. So, we can say that Attributes of suchness (眞如自體相) completes Influences of suchness (眞如用), and the latter actualizes the former. Like that, we can say that subject matter education complete socialization, and socialization actualizes subject matter education.
