대학 신입생의 부모관련변인과 대학생활적응의 관계에 대한 자기조절의 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 대학 신입생을 대상으로 부모관련 변인과 대학생활 적응 간에 자기조절의 매개효과를 검증하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 2017년 6월 IRB를 받아 9월부터 10월까지 신입생을 대상(총 364명, 남학생 202명, 여학생 162명)으로 설문지를 배부하여 자료를 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부모애착, 심리적 독립및 부모지지가 높을수록 자기조절을 잘 하고 대학생활적응수준도 높았다. 둘째, 신입생의 대학생활적응에 유의한 영향력을 가지는 변인은 모와의 심리적 독립 및 애착과 자기조절이었다. 셋째, 자기조절은 부모관련변인과 대학생활적응 간의 관계에서 매개효과를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 부모관련변인이 대학생활적응에 직접적인 영향을 주고 자기조절을 통해 간접적인 영향을 주고 있음을 보여준다. 본 연구의 결과는 대학생활적응에 어려움을 호소하는 대학 신입생들을 위해 자기조절능력을 증진시킬 필요가 있음을 확인하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effect of self-regulation among parent attachment, psychological independence, parent support, adjustment to college. The collected data(total 364 students: 202 male, 162 female) were analyzed using SPSS 22.0. The results of this study were as follows. First, parent attachment has positive correlation with psychological independence, parent support, self-regulation and adjustment to college significantly. Second, mother psychological independence, mother attachment and self-regulation has significant influenced on the adjustment to college. Third, the mediation analyses revealed that the relations between parent related variables and freshmen’ adjustment to college were mediated by self-regulation. This study confirmed that freshmen’ adjustment to college was affected by parent related variables and self-regulation. Also, self-regulation mediates between parent related variables and freshmen’ adjustment to college.
