장애대학생의 진로정체감 지위 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 장애대학생의 진로정체감 지위를 분석하여 진로정체감 지위의 발달 양상을 밝히고 장애대학생의 배경변인에 따른 지위별 차이를 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 부산시, 경상도, 충청도, 전라도, 경기도 지역에 소재한 4년제 대학교에 재학 중인 장애대학생을 대상으로 2018년 5월부터 10월까지 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 기술통계, 2단계 군집분석, 판별분석, 교차분석을 통해 분석되었다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 장애대학생의 진로정체감 지위는 5개의 군집으로 분류 되었고 성취, 유연적 성취, 유예, 탐색적 유예, 혼미로 나타났다. 둘째, 장애대학생의 진로정체감 지위의 분포특성은 남학생과 여학생 모두 탐색적 유예 지위가 가장 많은 것으로 확인되었으며, 학년이 올라갈수록 유예 지위는 줄어들고 성취 지위는 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 시각장애대학생은 유연적 성취가 많은 반면 청각장애와 지체장애 대학생은 탐색적 유예 지위가 가장 많았다. 마지막으로 장애대학생의 진로정체감 지위는 장애정도, 학과 지원동기, 전공 선택이유에 따라 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 본연구의 결과를 바탕으로 장애대학생의 진로정체감 지위에 따른 교육적 시사점을 제시하였고 개별적인 진로지원에 대한 방안을 모색하였다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to explore the vocational identity status of university students with disabilities based on the multi-dimensional measure of vocational identity status(VISA) and further investigated the differences in background variables among vocational identity status. The participants were 202 university students with disabilities in Busan metropolitan city, Gyeongsang, Chungcheong, Jeolla, Gyeong-gi province. The collected data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, cluster analysis, discriminant analysis, cross tabulation analysis. The results were as follows. First, the level of vocational identity was more than normal. Second, the vocational identity status of university students with disabilities has been categorized into five group types: achievement, flexible achievement, diffused, moratorium, searching moratorium. Third, the vocational identity status of university students with disabilities showed a significant difference according to degree of disabilities, motivation of department selection, reason for choosing major. Based on these results, this study provided useful information that not only career education plan for university students with disabilities but also career support direction for assisting successful adult life.
