국문 초록

본 연구는 최근 문제가 되고 있는 항공사 CEO들의 윤리적 리더십이 객실승무원의 조직몰 입과 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향, 그리고 CEO의 윤리적 리더십과 조직시민행동의 관계에 있어 조직몰입의 매개역할을 검증하고자 했다. 가설 검증을 위해 국내 항공사 객실 승무원 들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 총 241명의 설문조사 결과를 분석한 결과 CEO의 윤리적 리더십이 조직몰입과 조직시민행동에 정(+)영향을 미쳤으며, 조직몰입도 조직시민행동에 정(+)영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 조직몰입은 CEO의 윤리적 리더십과 조직시 민행동의 관계를 완전 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 의의는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 항공사 CEO의 윤리적 리더십이 조직몰입과 조직시민행동 등 조직유효성에 영향을 미치는 중요한 변수임을 확인했다. 둘째, CEO의 윤리적 리더십이 조직몰입을 매개로 조직시민행동에 영향을 미친다는 것을 검증함으로써 윤리적 리더십을 이해하는 메커니즘을 제공했다.

영문 초록

This study examine the influence of Airline CEO’s ethical leadership on organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior of cabin crew, and the mediating role of organizational commitment in relation between CEO s ethical leadership and organizational citizenship behavior. As a result of analyzing the 241 questionnaires, it was found that CEO s ethical leadership had a positive influence on organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior, and organizational commitment had a positive effect on organizational citizenship behavior. In addition, organizational commitment was found to mediate the relationship between CEO s ethical leadership and organizational citizenship behavior. The significance of this study is as follows. First, we provide a mechanism to understand ethical leadership by verifying that CEO s ethical leadership influences organizational citizens behavior through organizational commitment. Second, it is revealed that ethical leadership is an important variable to influence organizational effectiveness.
