국문 초록

2015 개정 교육과정의 개편을 통한 국어 교과의 두드러진 변화 중 하나는 ‘한 학기 한 권 읽기’의 신설이다. 이는 독서 및 독후 활동 시간을 확보하여 한 권의 책으로 깊이 있는 성찰적 독서하게 한다는 점에서 교육적 효과가 크다고 하겠다. 본 연구는 ‘한 학기 한 권 읽기’가 실제 학교 현장에서 어떻게 실행되는가의 양상을 분석하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 경남 창원 소재 남자 중학교 6학급을 대상으로 ‘한 학기 한 권 읽기’를 운영하는 과정을 교사 중심의 교수 설계 과정과 학생들을 대상으로 한 활동 과정으로 나누어 구체적인 양상을 분석하였다. ‘읽기-토론하기-글쓰기’ 활동이 중심이 된 ‘한 학기 한 권 읽기’는 평생 독자가 되기 위한 교육 내용이라 할 수 있으며, 실제 학생들에게 고차원적인 사고 능력과 2015 개정 교육과정에서 요구하는 핵 심 역량을 키울 수 있는 교육적 활동으로 평가될 수 있음을 증명할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

One of the most prominent changes in Korean language curriculum through the reorganization of the 2015 revised curriculum is the establishment of a Reading one book a semester . This is an educational effect in that it secures time for reading and reading activities and allows them to read deeply introspectively with one book. This study was conducted to analyze how Reading one book a semester is implemented in the actual school field. The process of running one semester reading for 6 classes of male middle school in Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do was divided into teacher-centered teaching design course and activity course for students. The Reading one book a semester centered on ‘reading-discussing-writing’ activities was an educational content for lifelong readers, and it was able to prove to students that they could be evaluated as educational activities that could enhance the higher thinking skills required by the 2015 revision curriculum.
