예비유아교사의 다문화 고정관념이 다문화교육 태도에 미치는 영향에서 교직인성의 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 부산과 경남의 4년제 대학교 유아교육학과에 재학 중인 예비유아교사를 대상으로 다문화 고정관념이 다문화교육 태도에 미치는 영향에서 교직인성의 매개효 과를 알아보기 위해 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 최종 290명의 설문지를 분석한 내용을 토대로 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 예비유아교사가 지각하는 다문화 고정관념, 교직인성(보편적인성, 교직인성), 다문화교육 태도(환경, 교사역할, 교사교육, 교육과정) 간에는 대부분 통계적으로 유의한 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 예비유아교사의 다문화 고정관념이 다문화교육 태도에 미치는 영향 관계에서 교직인성의 매개효과는 p<.001수준에서 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 예비유아교 사의 고정관념, 교직인성, 다문화교육 태도의 관계에서 다문화 고정관념은 교직인성을 매개로 해서 다문화교육 태도에 영향을 주는 부분 매개 모형이 검증되었다. 따라서 본 연구는 향후 유아교사를 양성하는 대학에서 다문화교육 태도 함양 프로그램 개발을 위한 기초적인 자료를 제시했다는 데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of multicultural stereotypes, teaching ethics, on attitude toward multicultural education in early childhood teacher and finally to examine the mediating effects of teaching ethics between multicultural stereotypes and attitude toward multicultural education. For this, we conducted survey to ask about those for pre-service early childhood teacher in Kyeung-Nam and Busan region then collected about 290. The collected dates was analyzed using by Pearson s correlation analysis, Hierarchial regression analysis and examining the mediating effects of teaching ethics. The results from this are as follows. First, It revealed that the multicultural stereotypes, teaching ethics, on attitude toward multicultural education of pre-service early childhood teacher are related each other. Second, in the effect of pre-service early childhood teacher s multicultural stereotypes on their attitude toward multicultural education, the subareas of teaching ethics, characteristics and teacher s disposition have partial mediating effect at the level of p<.001, so it is statistically significant. Accordingly, the universities cultivating early childhood teachers will have to open a variety of multicultural courses and provide them with both direct and indirect experiences so that pre-service early childhood teachers can enhance attitude toward multicultural education.
