유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 다문화수용성이 다문화 양육실제에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니 251명을 대상으로 다문화수용성과 다문화 경험, 다문화 양육 실제의 관계 및 매개효과를 알아보고자 중다회계분석을 사용하여 조사연구를 실행하였다. 그 결과 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 다문화수용성과 다문화 경험, 다문화 양육 실제 간에는 높은 정적상관관계가 나타났다. 또한 어머니의 다문 화수용성은 다문화 양육 실제에 직접적으로 영향을 미치기도 하지만 다문화 경험이 부분매개가 되어 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 어머니의 다문화 수용성이 다문화 양육 실제로 유아기 자녀에게 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 시사한다. 그러므로 어머니의 다문화적 변인을 고려한 교육대상으로서가 아니라 다문화교육의 한 축으로서, 가정과 연계한 유아 다문화교육에 대한 교육적 방안을 모색할 것을 제안한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between multicultural acceptance, multicultural experience, and multicultural parenting practices. This study conducted a survey of 251 mothers of young children. As a result, there was a high correlation between multicultural acceptance of mother with infant children, experience of multiculturalism, and reality of multicultural nurturing. In addition, the mother s acceptance of multiculturalism directly affects the actual practice of multiculturalism, but the experience of multiculturalism is influential. The results of this study suggest that the multicultural acceptance of mothers may affect the children of multicultural children. Therefore, it is suggested that educational methods for infant multicultural education should be sought in consideration of their multicultural variables.
