국문 초록

본 연구는 수업을 통해 교육과정을 연구한다는 것이 무엇인지 그 의미를 탐색해보는데 목적이 있다. 수업과 교육과정 분야는 서로 분리 혹은 결합하여 연구를 형성하여 왔으며, 이 둘의 관계가 서로 불연속적, 즉 분리되었을 때에는 각자 독자적인 연구 영역을 이루고 있었다. 그러나 교육과정과 수업이 연속적일 때, 수업을 통해 교육과정을 연구할 수 있다는 가능성을 발견할 수 있었는데, 수업이 교육과정을 선행한다는 것과 학교와 교사를 중심으로 수업이 교육과정을 이끈다는 것은 수업을 통한 교육과정 연구의 기본 가정이 된다. 이러한 가정들은 수업을 통해 교육과정을 설명해내는 구체적인 모습을 그려내며 이 분야가 하나의 연구 영역을 형성할 수 있음을 가능케 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore a meaning of studying a curriculum through a instruction. To this end, a relationship between the curriculum and a instruction was established as discontinuous but at the same time continuous. And within this context, we explored how instruction research, curriculum research, curriculum and instruction research have been conducted. In the discontinuous relationship between curriculum and instruction, the curriculum and instruction were studied independently. But in the continuing relationship between the curriculum and the instruction, it had a potential that is to study curriculum through instruction; 1) The instruction precedes the curriculum. 2) The instruction can lead the curriculum, which is centered around a school and a teacher. These preceding discussions provide important perceptions that it is possible to study curriculum through instruction.
