국문 초록

본 연구는 미적 체험 중심의 아동미술 수업을 통해 예비보육교사의 미술 및 미술지도 관련 인식이 어떻게 변화하는지 살펴보는 데 목적이 있다. 연구참여자는 D시의 4년제 대학에서 아동미술 수업을 수강한 2학년 학생 40명이었다. 자료의 수집은 2017년 6월 15일부터 7월 18일까지 진행된 아동미술 수업의 전 과정과 결과물이 포함되어 있는 연구참여자들의 포트폴리오와 심층면담 등을 통해서 이루어졌다. 연구결과 첫째, 예비교사의 미술 관련 인식은 전문가들만의 미술에서 누구나 즐길 수 있는 미술로, 틀에 박힌 미술에서 정답과 실패가 없는 미술로, 거리를 두었던 미술에서 이론과 실제를 통해 적극적으로 다가가는 미술로 변화하였다. 둘째, 미술지도에 관한 인식은 기술을 가르치는 미술에서 즐기는 태도를 경험하게 하는 미술로, 교사의 역할에 대한 막연한 두려움에서 진지한 고민으로, 미술지도를 잘 하겠다는 단순한 각오에서 구체적인 준비로 변화하였다. 본 연구는 교사 양성과정의 미술 수업에서 미적 체험의 중요성을 입증함으로써 미술 수업의 방향을 제시하였다는 데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explore a change of pre-service childcare teachers’ perception about art and art education through art lesson based on aesthetic experience. The participants of study were 40 students who took classes on children’s art in a four-year university located at D-city. The art lesson consisted of lecture, activities through aesthetic experience, workshop activities, project, field trips, open-ended questionnaires, reflective journals, and portfolio. Data were collected from portfolio and in-depth interview. The results of a qualitative analysis were as follows. First, pre-service childcare teachers’ perceptions toward art were changed from art of professionals into art for everyone, from stereotyped art into art without correct answers and failures, and from keeping a distance into getting close through theory and reality. Second, their perceptions toward art education were changed from teaching art skills into having attitude of enjoyment, from vague fear into serious concerns, and a simple resolution into specific preparation. These results stressed the importance of aesthetic experience in the curriculum for art education. And directions in art education for pre-service childcare teachers were provided.
