국문 초록

이 연구는 2018년 3월 ‘감정노동자 보호법’이 국회 본회의를 통과하고 10월 시행을 앞두고 있는 시점에서 제도적 측면을 보완할 수 있는 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 3월부터 7월까지 감정노동에 대한 연구논문과 학술지, 언론자료 등을 폭넓게 분석한 결과 감정노동문제를 사회적으로 이해하고 보호하는 내용이 다수를 차지하였다. 또한, 감정노동문제를 해결하기 위한 노력으로 시민사회, 노동단체, 그리고 정부, 기업체 차원에서 실천적 해결 방안을 제시하기 위하여 다양한 제도와 정책 등이 심도있게 논의 되어 왔다. 그러나 감정노동자 보호를 위한 법이 시행을 앞두고 있음에도 불구하고 고객의 횡포에 의한 감정부조화 현상이 발생하여 감정노동자 피해는 계속되고 있다. 이에 따라 이 연구에서는 감정노동자들을 보호할 수 있는 제도적 측면 외에도 감정노동을 사회적 문제로 인식하고 사회적 합의를 도출할 수 있는 근본적인 해결책으로 감정노동문제에 대한 재인식과 감정노동교육에 대한 필요성을 제기하고자 하였다.

영문 초록

The study sought to find ways to supplement the institutional aspect when the Empathetic Labor Protection Law passed a plenary session in March 2018 and was about to take effect in October. To that end, a wide range of analysis of research papers, academic journals and press materials on emotional labor took up a large part of the social understanding and protection of emotional labor issues from March to July. In addition, various systems and policies have been discussed in depth to present practical solutions at the level of civil society, labor groups, and government and businesses in an effort to solve the emotional labor problem. But the emotional worker damage continues as there has been a clash of emotions caused by customers tyranny even though laws aimed at protecting emotional workers are about to be implemented. Accordingly, in addition to the institutional aspects of protecting emotional workers, the study sought to raise awareness of emotional labor issues and the need for emotional labor education as a fundamental solution to recognize emotional labor as a social problem and reach social consensus.
