대학생의 자아존중감이 진로결정자기효능감과 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 대학생의 자아존중감이 진로준비행동에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 진로 결정자기효능감의 매개효과가 있는지에 대해 살펴보았다. 본 연구에서 활용한 표집 데이터는 2018년 2월에 한국고용정보원에서 제공한 청년패널(Youth Panel) 공개 자료를 이용하였다. 분석 자료는 전국의 대학생 1,202명을 대상으로 실시한 10차(2016년) 설문조사를 활용하였으며, 청년패널의 통합설문지 중에서 대학생의 진로발달과 구직동기에 대한 설문 중에서 본 연구에 적합한 하위요인들을 중심으로 17개 문항을 선별하여 선정하였다. 측정도구에 대해 신뢰도 분석을 실시하였으며, 각각 변인별로 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 대학생이 지각한 자아존중감은 진로준비행동과 진로결정자기효능감에 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 지각한 자아존중감 이 높을수록 진로준비행동과 진로결정자기효능감이 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 자아존중감이 진로준비행동에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 진로결정자기효능감은 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 대학생의 진로결정자기효능감의 하위요인들을 구체적으로 탐색하여 진로지도 및 상담 개입 전략이 필요함을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This article is aimed to prove mediating effect of career decision-making self-efficacy scale as self-esteem of college students affects career preparation behavior. The sampling data used in this study is based on the youth panel release data provided by the Korea Employment Information Service in February 2018. The subjects of the study were 1,202 university students nationwide. Among the questionnaires of career development and motivation of college students among the youth panel s integrated questionnaire, 17 questions were selected based on the sub - factors suitable for this study. Reliability analysis was performed on the measurement tools and regression analysis was performed for each variable. The results showed that self - esteem perceived by college students had a positive effect on career preparation behavior and career decision self - efficacy, the higher the perceived self - esteem, the higher the level of career preparedness and career decision self - efficacy. Also, career self - efficacy was mediated in the process of self - esteem affecting career preparation behavior. Based on the results of this study, it is suggested that a career counseling intervention strategy that can facilitate career preparation behavior by exploring the sub- factors of career decision self - efficacy is needed.
