간호대학생의 진로정체감, 진로적응 및 전공만족도에 대한 종단적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 간호대학생의 진로정체감, 진로적응 및 전공만족도를 종단적으로 살펴보고 전공만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 살펴보기 위해 시도되었다. 연구대상자는 K지역에 소재한 D대학교 간호학과에 입학한 학생이며, 2013년부터 2016년까지 매년 5월 중에 본 연구 설문지 작성에 4회 모두 참여한 62명의 학생이다. 자료는 SPSS 22.0 프로그램을 이용하여 서술적 통계, 피어슨 상관관계, 반복측정분산분석 및 단계적 다중회귀분석으로 분석하였다. 본 연구결과 간호대학생의 학년별 진로정체감과 진로적응은 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 전공만족도에서 학년이 높을수록 평균이 올라가는 선형모형을 나타냈으며, 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 또한 전공만족도에 유의하게 영향을 미치는 변수는 진로정체감으로 나타났으며, 이 변수의 전공만족도 설명력은 30.0%였다. 따라서 간호대학생의 전공만족도 영향요인을 고려한 진로상담가이드 및 진로교육 프로그램을 적용한다면 간호대학생의 학과적응 및 전공만족도를 향상시킬 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to investigate how the career identity, career adaptation, and satisfaction with major of nursing students change according to their grade, and to examine the factors affecting satisfaction with major. Participants included 62 nursing students from D University in K region. They completed a structured questionnaire four times, each year in May, from 2013 to 2016. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, repeated measures anaylsis of variance, and stepwise multiple regression on the SPSS 22.0 program. Nursing students’ career identity and career adaptation did not differ significantly among grades. However, satisfaction with major differed significantly among grade, with a linear trend in thier means. Satisfaction with major was influenced by career identity, which explained 30% of total variance. To improve adaptation with major and nursing professionalism among Korean nursing students, they should be provided career counseling and career education considering the factors influencing their satisfaction with major.
