문제중심학습(PBL)을 활용한 한국어 교육과정론 수업 사례 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 예비 한국어 교사들을 위한 수업에서 이론적인 부분에 비해 실제적인 문제 해결 역량을 키울 수 있는 기회가 부족하다는 문제의식에서 시작되었다. 이러한 한계를 극복하고 새로운 수업 모델을 제시하고자 2018년 1학기에 H대학교에서 진행한 PBL을 활용한 한국어 교육과정론 수업 사례를 자세히 보였다. 또한 이 수업이 학습자들에게 어떤 효과가 있는지 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 PBL 수업 전후로 학생들을 대상으로 교사 효능감 설문을 실시하였다. PBL을 활용한 교수를 실시하기 전의 교사 효능감 평균은 5.99였고, PBL을 활용한 교수를 실시한 후의 교사 효능감평균은 6.37로 0.38이 향상되었으나, 대응표본 t-test 결과 통계적으로 유의미한 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 반면, 학생들이 작성한 성찰 일지에서 수업의 효과에 대해 주제분석을 실시하였는데 자기주도학습, 이론의 실제 적용, 학습자 심층 이해, 설득과 협동, 문화 이해 능력으로 그 주제 영역을 분석해 볼 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to provide a new class model to overcome the limit of lack of opportunity to develop practical problem solving ability compared to the theoretical part for the pre-service Korean teachers. This case study of Curriculum Development in Korean language education using PBL was carried out at H University in the first semester of 2018. This study also tried to verify the effects of this PBL lesson on learners. For this purpose, a questionnaire on teachers’ sense of efficacy wasconducted before and after the PBL class. The mean of the teachers’ sense of efficacy before the PBL was 5.99, and after the PBL was 6.37, which was improved by 0.38, but there was no statistically significant difference from the paired-sample t-test. The subject analysis was conducted on the effect of the class in the reflection journals written by the students. The subject area could be analyzed by self-directed learning, practical application of the theory, in-depth understanding of the learner, persuasion and cooperation, and cultural understanding ability.
