사회정서역량과 회복탄력성이 학교 적응과 부적응에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 사회정서역량과 회복탄력성이 학교적응과 부적응에 미치는 영향을 밝히는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해, B광역시에 소재한 3개 학교에 재학 중인 학교 적응 청소년 180명과 학교를 자퇴 또는 퇴학한 학교 부적응 청소년 100명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 독립표본 t검정과 로지스틱 회귀분석을 통해 분석하였다. 연구결과에 따르면, 첫째, 학교 적응 청소년과 부적응 청소년의 사회정서역량을 비교한 결과, 학교 적응 청소년의 사회정서역량이 높았다. 둘째, 학교 적응 청소년과 부적응 청소년의 회복탄력성을 비교한 결과, 학교 적응 청소년의 회복탄력성이 높았다. 셋째, 학교적응 여부에 영향을 미치는 사회정서역량의 하위변인을 분석한 결과, 자기인식 및 관리가 유의미하게 나타났다. 넷째, 학교적응 여부에 영향을 미치는 회복탄력성의 하위변인을 분석한 결과, 감사하기, 관계성, 소통능력이 유의미하게 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 학생들이 학교에 적응하기 위해 어떠한 능력을 교육할 필요가 있는지 방향성을 제시하고 있다.

영문 초록

The aim of this study was to examine effects of social-emotional competence and resilience on school adjustment and school maladjustment. We conducted a survey on 180 students from three school and 100 adolescents dropped out of school or expelled from school in Korean metropolitan city. The data were analyzed through independent sample t-tests and logistic regression. The findings are as follows. First, the results showed that social-emotional competence of school-adjusted adolescents were significantly different from those of school-maladjusted adolescents. Second, the results showed that resilience of school-adjusted adolescents were significantly different from those of school-maladjusted adolescents. Third, the self-awareness and management, sub-factor of social emotional competence were found to have a significant effect on school adaptation. Fourth, Third, the appreciation, relationships, and ability to communicate, sub-factor of resilience were found to have a significant effect on school adaptation. The results of this study suggest the orientation of what abilities students need to educate to adapt to school.
