유아의 안전지식과 안전문제해결사고능력 증진을 위한 동시 활동 모색

국문 초록

본 연구는 2017년 3월 20일부터 6월 30일까지 경기도 부천시에 위치한 J유치원과 T유치원의 만5세 유아 총 42명을 대상으로 유아의 안전지식과 안전문제해결사고능력 증진을 위한 동시 활동 접근을 모색했다. 그 결과, 유아의 안전 지식과 안전문제 해결사고능력의 하위 요인, 즉 교통, 화재, 위험한 물건, 자연재해, 식품 측면에서 실험집단과 비교집단 간에 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 그러나, 유아의 성별에 따른 안전지식과 안전문제해결사고능력은 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 유아의 안전지식과 안전문제해결사고능력은 성별보다는 교육유무에 따라 달라질 수 있으며, 특히 동시를 활용한 안전교육 활동이 유아의 안전지식과 안전문제해결사고능력에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 유아교육 현장에서 안전교육의 방안으로 동시 활동을 활용하여 교육적 효과를 도모하기를 제안한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this research is to find out the effects of safety education activities utilizing children s poetry on safety knowledge and safety problems-solving competence of children. To do it, the thesis conducted a survey of total 42 children aged 5, at J Kindergarten and T Kindergarten located at Bucheon City, Gyeonggi Province, from March 20, 2017 until June 30, 2017. According to an analytic research outcome on sub-factors of safety knowledge and safety problems-solving competence of children, in other words, traffic, fire cases, dangerous stuffs, natural disasters and foods, there has been a statistically significant difference between the experimental group and the control group. Meanwhile as for safety knowledge and safety problems-solving competence of children, according to sex, there has not been a statistically significant difference. Thus, it is analyzed that safety education should be steadily conducted, considering children s developmental characters rather than their sex, and safety education activities utilizing children s poetry have the positive effects on safety knowledge and safety problems-solving competence of children. Safety education activities utilizing children s poetry can be considered important pedagogical learning activities necessary for enhancing safety knowledge and safety problems-solving competence of children.
